The Connaught Theatre became established in 1935 following an extension to the 20-year-old building. It houses many touring shows, from West End theatre productions to musicals. Since the late 1980s, the Connaught has also been a dual use cinema and theatre, with two top of the range screens and a high audience capacity.

The Connaught is revered for its Art Deco feel, transporting you back to the decades it began in. Whether visiting for shows in the Studio or the main house of the theatre, you are guaranteed an immersive and intimate experience. The fabulous Fraser’s Bar on the second floor is the perfect place for a pre-show tipple, and provides a great setting for the social events the Connaught hosts.
