Cheltenham Playhouse

Cheltenham Playhouse was founded in April 1945 making it the only new theatre in the UK to begin operating during World War II. Formerly a home for local amateur theatre, the venue now presents a mix of professional and community drama and musical theatre, live music, comedy, burlesque and film, while also offering daytime and evening community interest activities from parent and toddler groups and choirs to its own drama school, Theatre Studio.
