Inter Alia

inter alia /??nt?r 'e?li?,'ali?/
adverb
among other things.

Following an acclaimed, sold-out run at the National Theatre, Oscar-nominated Rosamund Pike (Saltburn, Gone Girl) brings her ‘transfixing shape-shifting performance’ (Telegraph) to the West End in a 'searing legal drama' (Guardian) from the team behind global phenomenon Prima Facie.

Jessica Parks is a maverick London Crown Court Judge; sharp, compassionate, and determined to change a system she knows isn’t always just. But her career exists inter alia (‘among other things’) as she balances motherhood, friendship and the elusive notion of ‘having it all’.

So, when an unthinkable event rocks her finely tuned life, can she hold her family together - or will everything fall apart?

Inter Alia reunites Olivier Award-winning writer Suzie Miller with BAFTA Award-winning director Justin Martin for a ‘swaggering epic’ (Independent) that is bold, witty and deeply human.

Playing a strictly limited run at London's Wyndham's Theatre from 19 March.

'ALL RISE for this powerfully uplifting theatrical event'
- Evening Standard

Aaron Sorkin's riveting, award-winning stage adaptation of Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird returns to the West End for a strictly limited season this summer. The seminal American novel about racial injustice and childhood innocence became a Broadway and West End sensation with star-studded seasons on both sides of the Atlantic and is currently thrilling audiences across the UK and Ireland in a sell-out national tour.

'Mockingbird soars anew in Sorkin's blistering adaptation. SPELLBINDING'
- Daily Mail

Successful lawyer, Atticus Finch, encourages kindness and empathy in his children, but is pushed to the limits of these qualities himself when he resolves to uncover the truth in a town that seems determined to hide it. Acclaimed stage and screen actor Richard Coyle (Player Kings, Macbeth, Fantastic Beasts: Secrets of Dumbledore) returns to this iconic production as Atticus Finch, reprising the role he played to great critical acclaim in the 2022 West End production.

'POWERFUL. IMPORTANT. DEEPLY MOVING. I wept as I rose at the end'
- Sunday Express

Set in 1934 Alabama, To Kill a Mockingbird was inspired by novelist Harper Lee's own childhood and has sold more than 45 million copies worldwide. It won the Pulitzer Prize for Literature and was long at the top of the banned book lists.

Wyndham’s Theatre is a West End theatre located on Charing Cross Road. It is one of two venues that was originally opened by Charles Wyndham, the other being the Criterion Theatre. It was designed by the famous theatre architect W.G.R. Sprague in 1898 and opened the following year in the presence of the Prince of Wales. It is now a Grade II listed building.

The theatre has hosted many famous associations and debuts over the years. One of these was with the actor and theatre manager Gerald du Maurier, who helped to debut the stage career of famous screen actress Tallulah Bankhead. His daughter, the famous novelist Daphne du Maurier, would often go to see performances at the theatre, and later presented her own play on its stage. Later, the venue would host the premiere of Graham Greene’s first play, The Living Room. It was also the home to one of the most popular shows of the 1970s, Godspell, starring David Essex, Marti Webb and Jeremy Irons. In more recent times, the international star Madonna made her West End debut at Wyndham’s Theatre in a production of Up For Grabs.

The theatre has always been a commercially successful theatre. It has hosted an array of famous works from Stephen Sondheim, Alan Bennett, Anton Chekov, and Shakespeare. It is even featured as a model in the Universal Studios theme park as part of the London-inspired area.
