Tara Theatre is an intimate venue in Earlsfield, South-West London. The theatre company was founded in commemoration of Gurdip Singh Chaggar. The company wanted to present a blend of Eastern and Western cultures through their distinctive style of theatre.
The company had their first production in 1977 at the Battersea Arts Centre with a performance of Sacrifice, a play by the Nobel Prize-winning poet Rabindranath.
