We're delighted to welcome our patron and iconic Olivier and BAFTA Award winning actor, Dame Penelope Keith, to the Yvonne Arnaud stage for a special fundraising event in aid of our Play Your Part campaign.
Dame Penelope is particularly well-known for popular television series including The Good Life and To The Manor Born. Recent theatre credits have included The Importance of Being Earnest (West End and tour) and The Chalk Garden (Chichester Festival Theatre). Since 2014, she has presented three series of Penelope Keith’s Hidden Villages for Channel 4.

Mel Giedroyc is a TV presenter, writer and actress. She is known for her work alongside Sue Perkins in shows such as the multi Bafta-winning Great British Bake Off (BBC) and Light Lunch (Channel 4), which made them household names. Mel has appeared in sitcoms and panel shows
Proceeds from the event will support our Play Your Part campaign to transform the theatre.

The Yvonne Arnaud is a regional theatre with a national reach, producing and presenting vibrant, entertaining drama for the communities of Surrey, the South East and beyond. Our 80 seat Mill Studio hosts a programme of one-night events and work from emerging artists. We present productions from acclaimed companies, such as Mischief, Donmar, Northern Broadsides, Out of Joint and many more, alongside our own productions and traditional family panto. Our light and airy cafe is open during the day, and pre-show, for delicious, homemade dishes and snacks. The theatre is a charity, built in 1965, thanks to public subscription. It is a grade II listed building.
