BASED ON THE BOOK BY JULIA DONALDSON & AXEL SCHEFFLER

Zog, super keen student turned air-ambulance, still lands with a bang-crash-thump. Together with his Flying Doctor crew, Princess Pearl and Sir Gadabout, they tend to a sunburnt mermaid, a unicorn with one too many horns and a lion with the flu. However, Pearl’s uncle, the King, has other ideas about whether princesses should be doctors, and she’s soon locked up in the castle back in a crown and a silly frilly dress!

With a bit of help from some friends and half a pound of cheese, can Pearl make her uncle better and prove princesses can be doctors too?

Freckle Productions (Zog, Stick Man, Tiddler & Other Terrific Tales) are back, with music and lyrics by Joe Stilgoe (Zog), for this truly modern take on the classic fairy tale.

This is the true story of how hundreds of innocent people fought to clear their names after being pursued by the Post Office through the criminal courts.
Proud pillars of their communities were stripped of their jobs and livelihoods. Many were forced into bankruptcy or borrowed from friends and family to give the Post Office thousands they did not owe. The really unlucky ones were sent to prison.

Currently being adapted into a primetime ITV drama starring Toby Jones, this jaw-dropping, unique and gripping story is now the subject of a compelling stage show.

Journalist and television (BBC Radio 4 and Panorama) presenter Nick Wallis has drawn on his decade of covering the story to write a best-selling book (The Great Post Office Scandal - serialised by the Daily Mail and featured by the Sunday Times) - it is this book which forms the basis of his new show.

Delving into the history of the forecast and the extraordinary people who made it, Charlie explains what those curious phrases really mean, celebrates its wide cultural impact, shares riproaring adventures from his own extraordinary journey through the 31 sea areas – the times he was accused by the media of trying to annex Rockall from the British government and sang sea shanties with Tom Hardy in a Manx hotel bar while Scary Spice pulled the pints - and presents his case for the shipping forecast being our finest achievement.
