Venue information
This beautiful theatre is the jewel in the crown of the Royal Borough of Windsor, just a stone’s throw away from the historic Windsor Castle. This theatre is the only unsubsidised producing theatre to operate all year round in Britain and with a history that stretches back over 200 years.
Their vision is to provide a first-class regional theatre that is recognised nationally, that produces and presents a core programme of drama and theatre for all residents and visitors to the Windsor area. Acting as a key cultural hub, encouraging participation, learning and engagement with performing arts and supporting the development of performers, creatives, staff and audiences.
This theatre's repertoire is wide, ranging from classic drama and over 85 continuous years of traditional pantomime to first productions of new work some of which subsequently transfer to the West End.
Winner of 2024 Tripadvisor Trevellers' Choice Awards.
