On a summer’s day in 1900, three schoolgirls and their teacher vanished during a picnic at Hanging Rock, a beauty spot in rural Australia. Their disappearance leaves a community suspended between fascination and dread. Loosely based on real events, this haunting adaptation combines memory and myth to create a heady mystery full of uncertainty, beauty and terror.
