In the initial Covid lockdown of March 2020, countless women gave birth under extraordinary conditions that no one could ever have imagined. Drawing on interviews with women from across the world, this new verbatim play explores the highs, lows, and strength of those women. These are their raw, honest stories, from laughs on zoom quizzes, to partners waiting in the carpark, and everything in-between.
This script-in-hand sharing will be followed by a post-show discussion with the cast and pregnancy experts, we well as opening a dialogue with the audience.
