Love Your Local Theatre Terms & Conditions

Love Your Local Theatre is a campaign run in partnership between The National Lottery and Society of London Theatre and UK Theatre, with £1million in funding given to support theatregoing.

1. Introduction
   • The “Love Your Local Theatre” promotion (the “Promotion”) is administered by the Society of London Theatre (“SOLT”) and will be available at selected venues (“Participating Venues”) which are part of the Theatre Tokens scheme. The full list of Participating Venues is available at https://www.theatretokens.com/find-a-theatre.
   • The standard booking terms for each Participating Venue shall apply to tickets purchased using vouchers claimed under the Promotion. If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the provisions of these promotion terms and conditions and the Promoter’s standard ticket booking terms and conditions, the provisions of these promotion terms and conditions shall prevail to the extent of that inconsistency or conflict.

2. Promotion Period
   • The Promotion shall run from 8.00am on 27 March 2023 until 23:59 on 28 May 2023, or earlier if all available vouchers are claimed before that date (the “Promotion Period”).
   • Vouchers claimed under the Promotion must been redeemed by the expiry date. Vouchers can be redeemed for selected performances at Participating Venue’s during the Promotion Period, including performances that may be scheduled beyond the expiry of Promotion Period (subject to availability at the relevant Participating Venue).
   • The final date for redemption of vouchers claimed under the Promotion is 23:59 on 18 June 2023.
3. Eligibility
   • The Promotion is open to customers who have purchased any National Lottery game, (including draw-based games, Scratchcards and Instant Win Games) from 1 January 2023 and uses the code on that ticket to claim a £25 voucher at LoveYourLocalTheatre.com, (which redirects to a subdomain of TheatreTokens.com), using their email address.
   • Only one voucher can be claimed per National Lottery game purchased. An email address or inbox can only be used once to claim a £25 voucher.
   • Any National Lottery game (including draw-based games, National Lottery Scratchcards and online Instant Win Games) purchased in-store, online or via the National Lottery app from 1 January 2023 until may be used for the Promotion.
   • National Lottery players must be 18+ and a UK resident. There is no age restriction on who may attend the performance using the benefit of the £25 voucher, subject to any age restrictions imposed on particular performances at Participating Venues.
   • The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of a customer’s eligibility to claim and redeem a voucher as part of the Promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
   • Vouchers claimed as part of the Promotion are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to availability.
4. Promotion
   • Vouchers claimed under the Promotion can be used to purchase tickets at any Participating Venue (subject to ticket availability). A list of Participating Venues is available at https://www.theatretokens.com/find-a-theatre. Participating Venues may withdraw from the Theatre Tokens scheme at any time. While SOLT uses its reasonable efforts to maintain an accurate and up to date list of Participating Venues on the Theatre Tokens website, SOLT makes no warranties or representations as to its accuracy or completeness and is not responsible for any errors or omissions on such list.
   • Tickets are subject to availability and a booking fee may apply. Participating Venues reserve the right to, at their sole discretion, restrict the use of the vouchers claimed under the Promotion in respect of tickets for certain performances or events and/or restrict or prohibit the use of Promotion vouchers in conjunction with any discounts and/or other special offers offered by Participating Venues, including discounted group bookings.
   • Vouchers claimed under the Promotion are subject to the Participating Venue’s standard booking terms and conditions. Vouchers claimed under the Promotion are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, cannot be resold, and no cash alternative is offered. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for tickets already supplied or for other goods.
   • In the event the value of a voucher claimed under the Promotion is more than the price of the ticket(s) purchased (including any booking fee) for a performance, no change will be given on such purchases. Any unredeemed value on a Promotion voucher will be available for future use using the voucher code, pin or QR code (as applicable). If the price of the tickets purchased using a voucher claimed under the Promotion (including any booking fee) is more than the value of the voucher(s) exchanged, the customer will be liable to pay the outstanding balance.
   • SOLT shall not be liable or responsible if a voucher is used without your permission.
   • In the event a performance is cancelled by a Participating Venue, the Participating Venue’s standard ticket booking terms and conditions apply in respect to any additional funds paid on top of claiming the voucher. The customer acknowledges that the voucher may be cancelled and may not be redeemable against any future performances.
5. General
   • Customers are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon claiming of a Promotion voucher. SOLT reserves the right to refuse to award the vouchers under the Promotion, or to refuse entry to the relevant performance, to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
   • SOLT reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Promotion where it becomes necessary to do so for reasons beyond SOLT’s control. SOLT may cancel, suspend or amend the Promotion for any other reason provided it uses reasonable endeavours to notify customers of any cancellation, suspension or amendment reasonably in advance.
   • Insofar as is permitted by law, SOLT, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate customers or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Promotion vouchers except where it is caused by the negligence of SOLT, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. The customer’s statutory rights are not affected.
   • Personal data supplied during the course of this Promotion will be processed in accordance with SOLT’s Privacy Notice https://www.theatretokens.com/privacy-policy and the Privacy Policy of the Participating Venue at which a voucher is redeemed.
   • These terms and conditions are governed by English law and SOLT and the customer each irrevocably agree to submit all disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
