The Royal Lyceum Theatre Company is Scotland’s leading producing theatre. With a strong reputation for excellence in both classical and contemporary work, The Lyceum is committed to developing Scotland’s considerable indigenous talents while presenting the best of international drama. This year we enter into Artistic Director David Greig’s inaugural season featuring four world premieres, Shakespeare, Lewis Carroll, Noël Coward, and a co-production with Malthouse Theatre Melbourne and Black Swan State Theatre Company, and many more thrilling shows. Between September and June we produce up to eight high quality productions making it one of the largest producing companies in the UK. In recent years, The Lyceum has staged co-productions with Theatre Royal, Bath; The Bush Theatre, London; Nottingham Playhouse Theatre Company; National Theatre of Scotland; Citizens Theatre; Dundee Rep; Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse; Chichester Festival Theatre and the Lyric Hammersmith.
