The SandPit Theatre is a multipurpose arts venue based on the campus of Sandringham School in the heart of Marshalswick, St Albans. The venue is celebrating 20 years in December 2021 and strives to be family friendly and to make your visit as easy and affordable as possible. The theatre offers a varied programme of drama, dance, musical theatre, and cinema with a mix of commercial & professional tours & non-profit making groups for performances, demonstrations & presentations so perfect for all ages to enjoy.The SandPit Theatre has a free carpark and easy wheelchair access as the venue is all on one level from your entry through to the auditorium. The auditorium seats 266 with 2 wheelchair spaces available. The theatre is fully licensed and has a bar which is open before and during every performance with a range of snacks, ice cream, hot beverages, soft drinks & alcoholic beverages.
