Transport

The easiest way to get to us is on public transport we are a two minute walk from both Hammersmith tube stations and the bus station. Hammersmith is in oyster card zone 2.

We are a 20-minute tube ride from Central London on the Circle and Hammersmith & City lines (2 min walk from station), and District and Piccadilly lines (2 min walk from station), and easily accessible by bus and car. Oyster card Zone 2.

There are cycle racks on Lyric Square in front of our entrance. There are also Transport for London Cycle Hire docking points on Bridge Avenue, Southerton Road and Hammersmith Road, all a short walk from us.

Parking

The nearest car park is the Kings Mall car park, travel along King Street, go past Primark and turn 2nd right onto Cambridge Grove, follow to the top of the road and turn right onto Glenthorne Road. The car park is situated on the right after Leamore Street. The car park is open 24 hours.

Accessible Parking:
The nearest disabled parking spaces to the Lyric are in the King’s Mall shopping centre car park on Level 6 and 7. Leave the car park by the Beadon Road exit and turn right, Lyric Square is a short walk from there.

There are disabled bays in Hammersmith and Fulham at the following locations:
- Margravine Road (12 min walk to Lyric Hammersmith)
- Lochaline Street (12 min walk to Lyric Hammersmith)
- Yeldham Road (12 min walk to Lyric Hammersmith)
- Biscay Road (11 min walk to Lyric Hammersmith)

There is a car drop off point on Lyric Square on Beadon Road.

Cafe

On the ground floor, our café opens out on to Lyric Square. Serving a delicious all day menu featuring superb speciality coffee and award-winning Chelsea buns at breakfast, superfood salads and hand-made pies at lunch, alongside delectable cakes and sweet treats throughout the day.

Lyric Café is open from 8am – 6pm Mon – Fri, 9.30am – 6pm Sat and on selected Sundays during the year when we have performances.

Restaurant

Whether you’re looking for a pre-theatre meal, relaxing lunch, an after work drink or celebration meal we have something for you.

The Lyric Bar & Grill, is located upstairs with a stunning roof garden which overlooks Lyric Square. Serving lunch and pre-theatre dinner from our grill, you can also enjoy one of our freshly prepared salads or popular burgers.

For theatregoers and those looking for a quick snack to accompany their post-work drink there’s an array of sharing platters, healthy salad boxes or a variety of bar food and quick bites. And our Little Lyric meals are available throughout the day to complement your family trip to our panto or Little Lyric shows. Don’t forget to pre-order your pre-show meal or interval drinks.

Bar

The Lyric Bar & Grill is located upstairs with a stunning roof garden which overlooks Lyric Square.

During the warmer months our roof garden comes alive with beautiful flora and is a perfect setting for group parties, after-work drinks and al fresco dining.

The Lyric Bar & Grill is open from 12noon till 11pm Mon-Sat and on selected Sundays during the year when we have performances.

Access Info

The Lyric Hammersmith is inclusive and welcoming to all. Our building is fully accessible and we provide a wide variety of accessible performances, classes and activities.

The Lyric is fully equipped with elevators to our two theatres, the Main House and Studio, and to the Reuben Foundation Wing, where most of our classes and activities take place.

Each Main House show has an Open Captioned and Audio Described performance, with BSL Interpreted and Relaxed performances for our annual panto.

The Lyric has a range of toilet facilities available on every level, including all-gender, gender specific and private accessible toilets in our café, on the Stalls level, on our balcony level near the creative space, and a ‘Changing Places’ toilet in the Reuben Foundation Wing. We also have a baby change facility and accessible toilet on our first floor near the entrance to the Reuben Foundation Wing.
