The Dugdale Centre is a popular arts centre located in the heart of Enfield Town. This area of North London is identified as being one of 35 major centres for the London plan – a scheme to rejuvenate areas in Greater London. The Dugdale Centre was purposefully built to bring great entertainment and artistic opportunities to its community. This multi-purpose venue contains a 139-seat studio theatre, the Museum of Enfield and Local Archives, a suite of conference rooms, an art gallery, and a café, which ensures that The Dugdale Centre is a hub of activity all year-round.

The theatre showcases an innovative programme of work which includes music, literature and performing arts events. The Dugdale Centre is also in artistic partnership with its sister venue, the Millfield Theatre, and aims to complement the work produced there.

The Dugdale Centre is also renowned for presenting new and exciting projects from emerging artists as well as supporting local arts organisations and theatre companies, making the venue a cultural home for community and fresh artistic talent.

Over the years, audiences have enjoyed performances from The Noise Next Door, comedians Dane Baptiste and Funmbi Omotayo, Roger McGough, and the LiTTLe MACHiNe and Peter Howarth. The venue is also home to Ziggy’s World Jazz Club and the Rhythm and Rhyme Poetry Jazz Club, just some of the projects lending The Dugdale Centre its eclectic and vibrant programme.
