Built on the site of the former Cattle Market in Wellingborough, Castle Theatre is a lively theatre and cinema which is home to professional touring theatre companies and community groups. Parkwood Theatres began running Castle Theatre in 2019 and it is now one of the most vibrant and diverse programmes of arts and performance in Northamptonshire. Castle Theatre plays host to artists, musicians, dancers and performers from around the world, from household names and West End shows to artists presenting new performance, theatre, music, dance, comedy and film.

Set in the bustling town of Wellingborough, Castle Theatre’s facilities include the Main Auditorium (seating 503 seated), Studio (seating 84), an art exhibition space, dance and rehearsal spaces, meeting rooms and a fantastic bar with a wide range of refreshments. The venue also hosts Pud’s ‘n’ Gud’s Bistro, open for daytime meals as well as for pre-show dining on select performances.
