It's nearly that time of year when names will be drawn in secret and the hunt begins for the best Secret Santa gift.
Whether it's for an office Secret Santa or gift-giving with your friends and family, Theatre Tokens are the best gift to give this Christmas. With either a gift card or e-gift, you're giving the recipient the choice of when and where to use their gift.
The gift of choice
Theatre Tokens are accepted at over 300 theatres, giving the recipient choice of both what to see and where to go – whether that’s a big show in the West End, a theatre close to home or while taking a staycation somewhere in the UK.
Plus, unlike many other gift cards, Theatre Tokens never expire. Theatre Tokens have been running since 1984 and if you found one from that year today, you'd still be able to use it at a participating theatre box office.
That means whoever you give it to can use it right away or wait until the perfect show comes along.
Whatever the spending limit, you're covered
Most Secret Santa exchanges set a spending limit and while this is nice in theory, sometimes it presents a challenge.
Everyone wants to find a meaningful present, one that will be appreciated and used after it's been opened. If the price limit for your Secret Santa is making it difficult to find a thoughtful gift, remember a Theatre Token can be bought for any amount over £10.
Or if you've already bought the bulk of your present but you need something extra to finish off the spending limit, a Theatre Token is a great stocking filler.
It doesn't need to cover the full cost of a ticket - the rest can be paid using a debit or credit card. So even if you think it's not enough to give, your Theatre Token can be the difference between a seat in the Gods and a seat in the front row.
Need a last-minute gift?
Theatre Token gift cards and e-gifts both work in the same way, so whichever you choose your Secret Santa giftee will be happy.
If you have time, you can order a gift card in the post along with a greetings card that can include a personalised message.
But if you need a gift at the last-minute, Theatre Tokens e-gifts are perfect because they are sent instantly day or night. So, if the exchange date sneaks up on you, there's no need to fear - we can send your e-gift as soon as it's ordered.
